OST (Original Sound Track)

Before 1920s, most of films with no synchronized recorded sound, especially with no spoken dialogue. In 1927, the first feature-length motion picture with synchronized dialogue sequences "The Jazz Singer" released, it made a new history of sound film. A sound film is a motion picture with sunchronized sound, or sound technologically coupled to image, as opposed to a silent film. At the beginning a projected sound-film system know as Cinemacrophonograph or Phonorama, based primarily on the work of Swiss-born inventor François Dussaud, was exhibited in Paris; similar to the Kinetophone, the system required individual use of earphones. However with rapid development of technology, film making with sound is getting better and easier. We call the music of the film as O.S.T (Original Soudtrack). A soundtrack can be recorded music accompanying and synchronized to the images of a motion picture, book, TV program or video game; a commercially released soundtrack album of music as featured in the soundtrack of a film or TV show; or the physical area of a film that contains the synchronized recorded sound. There are five types of soundtrack recordings. The first is musical film soundtracks which concentrate primarily on the songs such as "Singin' in the Rain". The second is film scores which showcase the background music from non-musicals for example "Star Wars". The third is albums of pop songs heard in whole or part in the background of non-musicals such as "When Harry Met Sally". The fourth is video game soundtracks are often released after a game's release, usually consisting of the background music from the game's levels, menus, title screens, promo material,cut-screens and occasionally sound-effects used in the game. The last one is albums which contain both music and dialogue from the film, such as" The Sound of Music".

There are plenty of subgenres in K-Pop music. Such like Bubblegum Pop, Dance-pop, Operatic pop, Power pop, Soundtrack, Synth pop, Space age pop, Sunshine pop, Traditional pop and Teen pop. This is one of the most important reasons made k-pop music successful worldwide. An example of the famous K-pop bands or musical groups is Big Bang which is a South Korean male Pop music group. that’s consisted from 5 young male artists who are under 25 years old.  The members' are involved t in composing and producing their own music, especially the notable leader G-Dragon, has earned the group respect and praise from music industry experts.  And in November 2011, representing the Asia-Pacific region, Big Bang emerged as the inaugural "Best Worldwide Act" winner at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards.

classical music

Beethoven was arguably the most famous musician of his era, as well as being a composer and a pianist. The German musician rose to fame in the nineteenth century. Furthermore, Beethoven’s ninth symphony is one of the most famous symphonies and a well-plotted piece of art. One of the stunning facts about this symphony is that it took 29 years to be finished. Moreover, the 7th of may1824 was the day in which the first performance of the Symphony number nine was played in public.
Another Symphony that is not as famous as the ninth Symphony is the Fifth Symphony. This particular one I adore. I like the mined blowing start of it. Which grabs your censes attention to it. I sometimes listen to it while in my room to stimulate my mined and help me focus on whatever task I have in hand

Trance Music

Throughout my life, I have listened to a lot of different types of music. There were definitely quite a few phases that I went through - there was a time when I used to listen to hip hop music, then came the rock and metal phase. But as days passed by, started to experiment with different genres of music. I remember, when I used to hang out with one of my cousins, he used to listen to electronic music a lot. I had to listen to it of course, but at first it was too heavy for my ears. But eventually, I was really interesting in it. I started to love it, so I took a fair bunch of songs from my cousin, and started listening to them. And now, I love it! Nowadays, I listen to a huge variety of music, but Trance music is what I love the most.

There is a selected group of people who truly love Trance music.

Trance is a genre of electronic dance music that developed in the 1990s in Germany. It is characterized by a tempo of between 110 and 150 beats per minute, repeating melodic, and a musical form that builds up and down throughout a track. Trance is more melodic and harmonic than any other dance music. It refers to an induced emotional feeling, high, euphoria, chills, and uplifting rush listeners experience.

Trance is broken down into different sub genres like classic trance, vocal trance, progressive trance, hard style trance, and many more. I personally like classic, vocal and progressive trance.

Some of my favourite DJs who play trance music are Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, Dash Berlin, Above & Beyond, W&W, Gareth Emery and Hardwell.

When I started to love Trance music, I always wanted to go to a Trance festival, where I could see all my the world famous DJs. But back in Bangladesh, where I am from, no trance festivals take place. But when I came to Sydney, my dream came true! I went to Stereosonic, which is one of the biggest Electronic Music Festival, which was held at Sydney Olympic Park. I witnessed a lot of great DJs, and enjoyed really great music.

Electronica Musical----Owl City

The first time I heard the Owl City, when I was in high school in 2009. Owl city is an American electronic musical band and it was established by Adam Young in 2007 in Owatonna, Minnesota. However at the beginning he was the only member in this band which means he had to do all the music composition in his parents' basement. Like many musicians who achieved success in the late 2000s, Young uploaded his songs to MySpace and iTunes and sold about 2,000 tracks a week under the name Owl City.
The first full-length album of Owl City is called Ocean Eyes and also made Owl City and Adam Young famous. Especially “ Fireflites” it was a hit in the US Top 40, this was only hit as well until three years later when “Good Time”, featuring Canadian recording artist Carly Rae Jepsen, charted at No.8.
In early April 2011, Owl city held the music concert” All Things Bright and Beautiful World Tour”. And in 2012 Young announced via Twitter that he would be collaborating with Carly Rae Jepsen on a new song. The song was released on iTunes on June 26, 2012. It received generally positive reviews from critics, including Billboard: "It only makes sense that he's joined by Jepsen... a track that could become a radio staple for the rest of the summer,” and Entertainment Weekly: "'Good Time' goes down easier than a frozen margarita at a beachfront tiki bar."

how did Technology change the Music Industry

Long Time Ago when wanted to listen to music we would go to the shops and buy the music we like and would use walk-mans to walk around with the music we would like or these old big stereos with batteries and power cable too to enjoy what we would like to listen too then the CD's came and that was an amazing thing to have your music because it was easier to record the music on these CDS and get them off the internet although it would actually take a much longer time than it actually takes now
but even when moving it wasn't the nicest thing because these CD players had to be stable to be able to play these CD's and then a better version of the cd players were invented eventually but MP3 Players were invented and more portable than the walkmans or the Mp3 CD players but still it wasnt a complete solution for the Music Industry giants specially Sony when they sued Napster for the MP3s downloaded for free but still it was either free Mp3 songs or a bit expensive CD's to listen to the music you like
but what Apple did is that they actually got into the MP3 Players industry but to separate them selves from their competitors they actually sat up the itunes where people can buy the music or songs they like for much cheaper then what they would pay for the CD's or the tapes and they can choose the songs they want only and that I believe was one of the points where the music industry and people mentality to the internet has changed

and I would like to share with you a Video of Ssteve jobs where he was introducing the concept behind creating the ipods
